Happy Trails is Riding Academy is a 3-acre ranch, located in beautiful Oakley California. We have instructors and horses for all ages and abilities and are a vendor through local charter schools.

Lessons and horse sponsorship/Leases
We offer English and Western riding lessons for ages 2 and up for all abilities. Lessons for ages 2-5 can choose from 30min($50)/ weekly lessons or 1-hour weekly lessons($60). All our lessons include grooming taking up one on one instruction and then untacking and grooming. We offer speciality lessons in Ropeing, Gymkahana/ Barrel racing, ranch riding, western pleasure, Drassage, English pleasure, Jumping, and more.
We offer horse sponsorships/ leasing. We have three leasing options available. Our first is for the beginner. Our modified lease is 2 scheduled lessons a week (billed based on how many lessons are in the month). Our second choice is our most popular. Half leases are two scheduled Free Rides (rides without a trainer) and one lesson a week($300/month). Our third choice is our full lease. Full leases have 4 free rides a week and one lesson a week ($450/ month). All leases will be assessed a Farrier fee. Leases are available at HTRAs disgression.

Summer Camps/ Camps
We offer once a month day camps throughout the academic year. Our Summer Camp is Monday-Friday 9am-1pm. Dates available 6/12/23 to 6/16/23, 6/19/23 to 6/23/23, 6/26/23 to 6/30/23, 7/10/23-7/14/23, 7/17/23 to 7/21/23, and 7/24/23 to 7/28/23. $450/wk ($440 for siblings). our camps include Horseback riding, games, crafts, education station, bareback riding, and new this year vaulting.
